Barack Obama says he wants to rein in government spending but if what Mitch McConnell is saying right now on TV is true, then we must wonder what Mr. Obama means.
Mr. McConnell has just said that in the last 36 days, the US Congress has spent more money than the United States has spent in the entirety of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, AND the Katrina recovery.
Is Mr. McConnell right? If so, where's the outrage? Or should there be no outrage?
