Readers here should know by now that the video produced by "TheMouthPeace" to which I've linked several times in the past few days was removed from YouTube. Well, it is back, and it has been tweaked significantly. The first minute is entirely new. You'll see that it is deliciously scandalous!

We need a respectable, preferably foreign, economist to break this down in a well-documented book. My father and I were talking about this very thing the other night. He takes the general approach that the video does. I'm a bit more skeptical of blaming one party entirely. CRA was expanded under the Republican congress.
I think it basically comes down to insidious American political thought that anyone can get anything, and a political system that has absolutely no shame. I'm sure they feed each other.
